Founded in 2006 by a group of nurses and midwives, HealthStaffEd is committed to providing the highest standard of continuing professional development to nurses and midwives.

We believe that the best people to provide continuing education activities to nurses and midwives are nurses and midwives. This is why every one of our tutorials has been developed in partnership with nurses or midwives to ensure that the information presented is relevant, current and evidence based.

Our tutorials have a strong focus on interactive learning, recognising that everyone learns in their own way at their own time.

We respect the precious time that nurses and midwives have and so we make every effort to ensure the highest quality of educational materials are presented. Our team can take months to develop a single tutorial, researching, writing, editing, reviewing, developing and selecting the most interactive and relevant multimedia to enhance and complement the learning materials, all with the aim of ensuring that when a nurse or midwife logs onto HealthStaffEd and chooses a tutorial he or she is going to have a valuable learning experience.

HealthStaffEd applies a rigorous quality control system that ensures that all materials are current, relevant, evidence based and consistent with Australian standards and guidelines.

HealthStaffEd is endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing, Australia. This means that every one of our tutorials is assigned RCNA CNE Points. HealthStaffEd also assigns CPD hours to all tutorials and endorses all tutorials for CPD hours. By accessing the tutorials available through HealthStaffEd, nurses and midwives can rest assured that their continuing professional development requirements are being met and are consistent with the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
