Author qualifications
Tutorial development is founded on evidence-based information using a comprehensive editorial review process. Tutorial writers are health care practitioners and writers who have extensive knowledge and experience within their field of expertise. Tutorial writers are expected to present balanced, unbiased perspectives without influence from commercial interests. Our writers have:
- At least two years' experience within their field of expertise; or
- Tertiary qualifications and experience within their field of expertise; or
- Are able to demonstrate knowledge and skill in the area through, for example, being an educator.
Registered nurses, doctors, allied health and other health care practitioners must be free from any disciplinary action and be knowledgeable, current and skilled in their subject matter. By skilled we mean post-basic qualifications in your specialty area or a minimum of two years' working in your specialty area.
If you are an educator we would welcome contributions from any area. For educators, knowledge and skill may be demonstrated by recent experience teaching the subject matter.
